I’m a runner. I got fed up with losing my stuff.
I’m Owen. I’ve run everything from local trails to multi-day ultras in mountains, forests and deserts. And wherever I ran, one irritating little problem followed me around: keeping all the kit organised.
TrailKube came from trying to solve that problem for myself.
FROM CARDBOARD TO TRAILKUBE
The first one really was a wine box.
I wanted somewhere I could keep my running kit together, see what I had and grab what I needed without rummaging through drawers and bags.
My first attempt was about as sophisticated as it sounds — cardboard dividers from a wine box.
It worked. Sort of. And more importantly, it proved the idea.
THE IDEA BECAME REAL
I made the thing I couldn’t find.
I wanted something purpose-built for runners — portable, tough enough to travel with and flexible enough to organise different kit for different days.
So the cardboard became adjustable padded dividers. The loose bits got lid pockets. And the whole thing became a case I could pack at home, put in the car, take to a race or have beside me in a tent.
That became TrailKube.
DESIGNED FROM EXPERIENCE
Made for the reality that comes with running.
TrailKube wasn’t designed at a desk. It came from years of running, travelling to events and dealing with all the little practical things that come with it.
Kit checks. Hotel rooms. Car boots. Tents. Early starts. Headtorches, gels and that one thing you know you packed but suddenly can’t find.
I wanted something simple that made all of that easier.
Everything in its place. More time to run.
