Why Trails?

For so many of us, trail running is about far more than pace, distance or finish times. In many ways, these factors become almost irrelevant.

Instead, running the trails, across the countryside, wherever we can, becomes a way to reconnect with nature, challenge ourselves differently, quieten busy minds and experience movement in a far more human and energising way than modern life often dictates.

This section explores some of the deeper reasons we are so often drawn to the trails — from mental resilience and community to recovery, perspective and the simple joy of moving through wild places.

Trails offer more than just a run. They offer space to breathe, think, rebuild and feel alive again.
